Last Friday we had our Dive Out night, where everyone was supposed to focus on helping others rather than themselves. We had 5 different projects – re-creating the Health Bulletin Board, making craft supplies for the Children’s Ministry, creating cards & writing encouragement notes to our missionaries, re-organizing the youth room seating, and cleaning the church. All the groups did a great job at accomplishing their goals. We also had a Hawaiian theme with the night and played a few games where we learned about Hawaii and how to speak Hawaiian. Mahalo!

Last Friday was “Dive In” night, where we hang out in our Dive groups for most of the night. We played card twister, where everyone did pretty good but Jocelyn’s group came out the champions, holding on to their cards the longest.
Sue gave a talk about how our hearts can be like a home, and we discussed how far we let Jesus into our “heart-homes.” Is he still waiting at the front door, is he involved in your daily life, or have you let him all the way into your deepest thoughts and the real you?

Last Friday we had our Creative Carnival Competition where everyone creates a carnival booth and then plays everyone elses creations.

There were many amazing ideas and lots of fun had by all at our carnival. The prize for most creative booth went to the “ball blowing booth” and the most profitable booth was the “Balloon Burst.”
Sue spoke about making God our treasure, rather than the things of this world. It might be a big decision to try and live that way, but just like the decision to have Damien has made Sue’s life way more fulfilling, the decision to make God our treasure can make your life more fulfilling and rewarding.
