… we combined our Dive In & Dive Live nights with a Valentines Party. Everyone played some Valentines Games in their Dive Groups, then joined together for some singing & a talk by Sue about Advice for Guy/Girl Relationships (4 Don’ts and 4 Dos!). We finished the night in our Dive Groups, discussing our own thoughts about guy/girl relationships and what the bible has to say about how we treat each other.

…was our Dive Live Winter Retreat and it was a blast!  We had great weather and enjoyed the outdoors tubing, skating, hot tubbing, and playing in the snow.  There were three teams that competed all weekend long, and the score was close right up until the end of the weekend.

We also had some great food made by our amazing cooks (Ryan & Ali Epp) and a great speaker, Kevin Koop, that inspired us to serve God with all our hearts.  The highlight for me was the foot washing we did on Saturday night – it was a bit weird at first but by the end everyone was serving and blessing each other by washing another person’s feet.  It was a great lesson in how God can change our hearts through our actions.

Last week was our Dive Out night, where we focus on worshiping God.  Although I wasn’t there, because Chris & I were away for the weekend, I hear it was a good night.  Everyone played “tajika” a fun dodgeball-type game that came to us from Tajikastan.  

Caitlin and the Jr. High worship team led worship, and Carson gave a talk.  There was also a bit of small group time, where each small group discussed a few questions about keeping their eyes on Jesus.  Unfortunately there are no pictures from the night, but we’ll make up for it with lots of pictures from the Winter Retreat!
